Well organised and the guide was very knowledgeable. When we arrived at the ranch, we were offered some local peach vodka which was very nice. After the horse display, we sat down for a meal and when we explained that we had dietary issues, they accommodated us with a different meal, which we were impressed with. However, at the meal there were local musicians playing local Hungarian music, once they finished, they first looked for tips ans secondly started asking everyone to buy their cd....we were still eating our meal at the time and felt it was a little inappropriate.
This tour is worth doing however the yellow loop and red loop are somewhat repetitive as as there are quite a few stops that are on both. The night tour was a little disorganised and not enough buses which left people standing at the bus stop for 30 mins with no sign of a bus coming and nobody updating the people of when the next bus would arrive.
We booked this tour on line but were disappointed that we still had to queue to exchange our vouchers for tickets, which to us, defeats the purpose.
Commentary on board had to be swift to deliver in several languages and to keep up with the speed of the boat. People thinking of doing this trip would need prior knowledge and familiarity with the sites covered and bridges crossed under.
Catering on board was poor. There were no hotdogs available and the sandwiches were plain and uninteresting with chocolate bars for the "dessert". This trip is best done purely for the enjoyment of seeing Paris at night time and the wonderful photo opportunity this provides. The professional photo taken on board is excellent and a very welcome souvenir of the trip and great value at €10.
This show was excellent both for those on vacation to Paris and for the French themselves.
Olivier Giraud managed to make fun of the French without insulting them and he had his audience one over from the first " Bon Soir".
He requested assistance from the audience members and we were petrified that we might be called upon but it was so funny to see people on stage trying to mimic what he had shown us.
Olivier Giraud is an excellent entertainer and a very funny man. The theatre was warm and cosy and we can highly recommend this show for an entertaining evening out in Paris.
I found the tour very impersonal. When I got on the bus, I was just handed a pair of cheap ear phones. My ear phones did not even work properly but there was no one to ask to replace them. It was only on the bus that I found out the my ticket was valid for 48 hours and not 24. Although, this might seem like an advantage. I was just glad that I was able to get off the but after approx one hour. As there was a local cycle race on at the time, the bus was diverted from its usual route and in effect the attractions that were described were not what we were driving pass. This was no explained at all. Very poor tour. Only do this tour if you want to pass an hour or if you need a break from the busy shops,
