Great way to see a lot in a short amount of time. A quick bus tour around the city - which is helpful to get briefly acquainted to with getting around the city. The stop at the Holmenkollen is brief, but honestly how much time do you need to see a ski jump? Also the tour of Vigeland Park is very very short - so if you really want to walk around the park and see it, you will have to come back on your own. The viking museum was very interesting and I felt that the time allowed there was quite sufficient. The time allowed for the Polarship Museum is definitely not enough to really see it all. There are three floors with lots of information - but if your not really into reading every fact about this ship and the history behinds it's voyages, then it's fine. The Kon-Tiki museum was good - definitely didn't need more time than we were given there. All in all I felt the tour was definitely a good value for everything we went to see. A great way to see a lot in a short amount of time. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke great English!
Completely loved the Historical Walking tour! The guide gave us a very good introduction to the city and I felt that you were able to see all of the main highlights of historical Salzburg. I think it's a great way to get a quick overview of the sights, get your bearings and then determine what sights you would like to explore further!! Salzburg is a great walking city and the 2 hour tour was plenty of time for the quick introduction.
The Sound of Music Tour was a lot of fun with lots of interesting facts about the movie and history of the family. Our guide was very entertaining and kept the tour very lively! You will see the main sights around Salzburg where the parts of the movie were shot, but do be aware that these are very brief stops, time enough for a photo op and then back on the bus. But honestly I couldn't imagine wanting to spend much longer on these stops than that! My favorite part of tour was our stop near St.Gilgen and Lake Wolfgang. The views from here were breath taking and we were definitely lucky with the beautiful day as it made this place along with the tour itself even more enjoyable!! I would definitely recommend this tour for visitors to Salzburg...you will not be disappointed!
This was tour was incredible. As it was a small group it felt almost like a personal tour. We had more than plenty of time in each location to sight see on our own, as well as get some great history and information from our tour guide Augusto, who was wonderful. Palacio de Pena was amazing and I can't imagine making to the palace on your own without being driven. Beautiful views on our drive from Sintra to Cabo de Rocha and to Cascais. This tour was definitely one of the highlights of the trip and I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Lisbon!!
Great day trip to Mount Titlis with a stop in Lucerne! I thought the guide was very informative and helpful. Although the views from the top of Mount Titlis were beautfiul, if you have been up in the mountains skiing anywhere in Europe, the views are relatively the same. So unfortunately I wasn't as amazed as someone who has never been up in the Alps. I would have rather stayed longer in Lucerne as it was a beautiful city. But overall a good trip and if this is your first time to see the Alps I would definitely recommend this trip!
