A friend an I recently took the Provence Countryside trip. I must say that it is wonderful way to get a look at some of the smaller villages that you might not see otherwise such as Grasse and St. Paul. There was only one caveat to this trip. We went to both a Perfume factory and a candy factory. Only the Perfume factory trip was listed on the itinerary and I felt that it was a time filler and not that enjoyable. Trips taken on a Sunday fail to tell the buyer that they will not see the factories in action as the workers have Sunday off. Other than that....great trip.
St. Paul is the most beautiful of places and we return there two different days to visit further. Loved it.

This trip was the best I have every been on. The tour was run by Walk about Tours and our Tour guide was Becky. She was informative, fun and truly interesting. She paid attention to every person on the bus and made sure that everyone learned what they wanted to learn and saw what they wanted to see. I was so impressed by her and the whole agenda of this tour. From Florence to San Gimiaganio, to the farm house for lunch and on to Pisa, there was never a moment that wasn't perfect.

This was a lovely experience and I am glad that I went on this tour. I understand that the guides have to line people up but I didn't appreciate their need to line us up like cattle. Howevery, once the tour bagan it was perfect and we loved every minute of it. The only way to get a real sense of Venice is when you take a gondola ride like this.
