The Seine river cruise and illuminations was not very well organised. Initially went to the offices directed on our ticket print out to be told the bus was departing one from the offices two blocks away and had to rush there so as not to miss the trip. Once there their were three coaches and no one knew which was the correct one for their trip; customers or staff. It was a free for all onto the coach at the departure point, which was repeated once we had finished the cruise. The illuminations tour was ok but the Eiffel Tower was seen in daylight with no lights on and the Sacre Couer was not sen at all. The meal was lovely but felt rushed with one course swiftly followed by the next. The cruise was pleasant, but overall i was dissapointed with the lack of organisation. Had we planned to arrive at the departure point given within our ticket the recommended 15 mins before departure we would have missed it.
We paid for the two day ticket. We got on the bus at the Place De La Concorde on our first day handed over our printed ticket and was given our 2 day tickets without any fuss. The commentary is very good through the given headphones and we initially went on the grand tour which was very informative and took in all the main attractions along the Seine. We then spent the next 2 days visiting a number of the attractions, using the bus. We also did the Montmartre tour. Friendly and helpful staff, buses stopped very near to all main attractions. A must for first time travellers to Paris.
