This was a very good way to get out of Athens and visit this amazing site. Our guide, Joy, was great - her English was exceptional and her knowledge of Delphi, greek mythology and current affairs made the whole day very interesting and worthwhile.I just have two small gripes:
1. We were picked up from our hotel (Royal Olympic) one hour before the start time and then spent the next 60 mins going back and forth picking up from other hotels, passing the Olympic several times. If we had known that this was going to happen we would have made our own way to the main set-off point.
2. It was a large group, and was difficult to get close to Joy to hear all information in Delphi. Also, half of the people were leaving us to continue with another bus to the Meteora and we got a bit tired of these arrangements being repeated tiume and again during the drive.
But these are minor issues, and overall we thought it was a great excursion and certainly worth doing.

Pick-up was fine as we had to pay a bit extra as our hotel was well away from the departure point. A lot of people on the trip but plenty of room on the boat. The cocktail provided on boarding was a fruit punch, non-alcoholic. Food was okay, but hot food was only just warm. Entertainment was amateurish and the singer was not very good, it ended upo as karaoke. Weather was not good so we didn't get a sunset, but the company can't be blamed for that. Our main complaint was the actual cruise - we just did circles around the harbour, we didn't go anywhere and the views were non-existent - very disappointed.

Good value for money as we were the only ones on the trip so had the car to oursleves. It is a long day and the roads are very bumpy and winding. I suffer from travel sickness and even my preventative measures did not help with all the swaying, stopping and starting and bumps. Felt a bit pressuered at the cultural stops as there was very little demonstration of the art, just pressurised shopping opportunity. The temple was very quiet as there were very few tourists. It was nice to see the rice terraces which is what you imagine when you think of Bali.

For the price, this was a comprehensive tour. The coach was full so it was a bit of a pain getting on and off as we had to wait for everyone. Guide was difficult to understand at times due to accent but overall the commentary was ok. We were not picked up from our hotel as told, we had to make our own way to the Excelsior hotel and return from there.

Although we had to make our own way to the ferry terminal as we were staying on HK island at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the excursion was quite enjoyable. We did a lot and the group was not too big so plenty of room on the coach. Lunch was good even though it was vegetarian. Guide was a little difficult to understand due to his heavy accent, but overall he was interesting and informative. Weather was ok but at the Big Buddha it was misty, I understand now that pollution is a problem in Hong Kong and this means you don't often get a clear day. It was a nice break from the busy city and ideal if you are on an extended stay in HK.

We did not get the pick-up from our hotel and had to make our own way to the Excelsior Hotel but as there were only 5 of us on the evening excursion, we were not too bothered about this. We ate at Bubba Gump on Victoria Peak as the original location stated is still undergoing refurbishment. Food was fine, plenty of it and we did have a small choice of menu. Not a very refined restaurant, but service was quick and as said, food was ok. The stop for the laser show was disappointing as it was misty from the pollution that now plagues Hong Kong and the laser show just consists of buildings flashing lights. Temple Street market was busy and bustling, very authentic. We still had a huge sampan on the harbour even though there was just 5 of us and this part was great as it is a lot clearer seeing the buildings lit up from sea level. Overall very good value for money.
