Capri Day Trip from Rome

My Review: I will start with my only concern that we had. It stated that you can do home pick ups as well as Hotel pick ups. We were told that we couldnt be picked up due to the distance from leaving point. That's fine but can there be some kind of map showing a defined area that they will pick up, before booking the trip. It would make life a lot easier, as trying to get into the depot by 7.15am from outer area's of Rome is very difficult. You can go on the Metro but you do need to realise that during the week, the Metro shuts off at 9pm. We arrived back at 9.30-10pm. Luckily we had a hire car and had sorted a carpark a couple of blocks from Depot but do realise that this cost us 45 Euro's to park. Trying to find a park on the street is near on impossible.
To the trip: The bus driver and guide were great. Boat ride fantastic as well. Isle of Capri was beautiful. The lunchtime meal was ample and delicious. Our only real disappointment was the Blue Grotto being unaccessible. Having come so far and being one of the main reasons for visiting the Isle of Capri, it was a let down for us.
I guess next time we do visit Italy, we will stay in the Isle of Capri for a couple of days, to try and ensure we do get to visit the Blue Grotto.
