This tour was very helpful as an overview to the city. We "hopped off" at the Munich Residenz and ended up spending most of our day there. The guides were German, and you had to listen closely to understand their comments. They actually spoke in a couple of languages to accomodate everyone. They weren't terribly cordial, but they got the job done and made getting to the important sites around Munich very doable.

This was probably the best tour we took during our 2 1/2 weeks in Europe. Keith, our guide, was absolutely fantastic--cordial, knowledgable, and very attentive. He was also a native English speaker which was helpful. Dachau is a sobering sight--a must see, in my opinion. Keith's explanations of the history--before, during, and after Dachau was in operation--were very insightful. I would rate this tour "10 stars" if they were available!
