Versailles by Bike Day Tour

My Review:

I liked our tour guide very much. He was the best thing about the tour. Also the bikes were very nice. Better than other tours we did on this trip. The negatives were: more waiting around most of the day and not enough biking. Our group was too big and unorganized. We would peddle a little ways and then wait a lot. There was a lot of downtime, shopping, picnicking, training, waiting... Also would have liked a tour of Versailles. The thought of just doing on your own sounds great but I was done walking through in abut 15 minutes because I wasn't sure how big it was going to be or how to pace myself. We ended up just going into town and getting a drink.
Tip: Buy the rain poncho for $1 at the start. It didn't rain but they make great waterproof blankets for sitting in the grass.

Paris Villages Bike Tour

It was a nice tour but I was disappointed that we stayed in the city. I imagined going out into the countryside. Also, make sure you are very physically fit. Out of 5 bike tours this trip, this was the only one I almost couldn't keep up with. The hills were tough.

Amsterdam Culinary Snack Bike Tour

Our guide was fabulous. We went to a lot of different places. Ate so much cheese we almost burst. I think they should not take you to the chocolate shop unless they start giving out samples there. All the other stops we actually got to try the food.
