My Review: We did not take this trip. i changed it to Battle Trail trip which was great. I liked the flexibility as i could leave tour in Concord and catch train back to Boston later, I wanted to follow the Literary trail as well..

My Review: The driver was knowledgeable and the trip was down was interesting. There was too much free time spent in the town of Hyannis which was a bit dreary to say the least. I would have liked to have seen some more coastline and sand dunes or maybe a trip up to Provincetown. I don't really like being taken to a place for lunch either. I prefer to choose my own venue if possible.

Newport City and Mansions Day Trip from Boston

My Review: This was a good trip. The mansions were amazing. What an insight into how some people lived in those days! I liked the freedom to choose where we had lunch. The town of Newport certainly held enough to interest one during the free time. Be prepared to return late!

Salem - The Witch City

My Review: The driver was entertaining and kept us amused with all his tales and observations. Salem was fascinating though I felt a bit overwhelmed with the witch story by the end of the morning. A lunch venue was suggested which I am sorry I took up as it was ordinary to say the least. But you can choose your own place to eat. The House of Seven Gables is really worthwhile visiting. The trip back through Marblehead was beautiful and should not be missed. Heavenly views! Be prepared to get back into Boston quite late!
