Assisi and Orvieto Day Trip from Rome

My Review: My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Orvieto and Assisi. I had done the same tour 5 years previously and had enjoyed it thoroughly and wanted my husband experience it as well. William, our tour guide who was on the first trip I made as well, is a lovely, charming guide and his friendly personality makes the trip more enjoyable. I was pleased to see that there is now some free time in Assisi, which wasn't on the agenda 5 years ago. Also, the farm stop for lunch on Lake Tresameni is delightful place to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there, so much that we plan to rent one of their chalets the next time we visit Italy. I had read negative reviews but don't believe them as this day trip a delightful way to see a small part of Italy.Vicki and Steve, Perth W Australia

My Review: Thoroughly enjoyed the tour though I feel that the 3 hours was more than enough for me. The guide was very friendly and informative and for history buffs she is has a very good knowledge of the colosseum and also the other ruins.

My Review: This tour was well worth it. I can't remember the tour guide's name but she had an American accent and she was excellent in telling us all there is to know about the vatican. Thorough enjoyable.

Rome Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker Bus Tour

My Review: Enjoyed the bus ride. Rome is a pretty easy city to walk to all the main sights but I recommend the hop-on hop-off bus for the first day to gain an overall picture of the city and it is nice to sit back, relax and let all the sights open up before your eyes.
