2-Day Tour to Meteora from Athens

My Review: We really enjoyed the trip which also included a stop at Delphi, the Temple of Apollo. We had 2 tour guides. The first took us through the Delphi site, and then we continued with a second guide to Meteora. Both were very informative, and we especially enjoyed Janus who took the group to Meteora. He had a great sense of humor, as well as a lot of great detail on the monasteries. The logistics of transferring between these 2 groups were handled very well. Our overnight accommodation and meals were also nice. We chose the 1st class hotel which was comparably priced with the 2nd class accommodations with other tour companies. This included a nice pool and 2 great meals.
We went with our teenage daughter and we had some initial doubts as to whether the overall tour group would work for her. But, there were quite a few families, also with teenagers, and we found the group to be a lot of fun. Also, by contacting Viator directly, you can get a triple room, which is less costly.
