My Review: Great fun. The guide/driver was a local, born on one of the islands. He knew the best places to go and how to drive the boat (spins etc).

My Review: Arrived at the ferry terminal early and was able to get the early ferry giving us an extra hour in Victoria. Would have been short of time if this had not been the case. Enjoyed.

My Review: Ideal for finding your way around the city. We did the blue route followed directly by the red route so that we could decide where we wanted to go back too. We then used the trolley to go back to our choices, both in the afternoon and the following day

Whale-Watching Tour from Vancouver

My Review: This is one of those trips were the wildlife has to play ball! We did see a hunchback after three hours, but no Orca's. Unfortunately, on the way back one of the boats engines broke down, meaning a huge reduction in speed. We should have been back in dock by 6 but didn't arrive until 9. We were offered a return trip for free, but, this was not possible for anybody with limited time in Vancouver. A long cold day, with only a quick glimpse of a whale and an unsatisfacory recompense.

My Review: Best trip of the holiday. Only 5 people in the minibus so really personal. Have only ever kayaked once before, but really enjoyed it. Had trouble getting out after wards, due to a recent operation, but our guide was brilliant - patient and strong! Saw a wonderful deserted beach and had the best meal of the holiday in an authentic Mexican restaurant. Only one warning - toilets not good so be prepared.

Isla Mujeres Trimaran Cruise

My Review: The weather was terrible - very windy. It took 21/2 hours to get to the island and we got very wet. We arrived in the south of the island to shop - we spent the time trying to get dry. We were then taken down the coast where we only had time to have dinner before we boarded the boat for the trip home. No snorkeling etc. We then found that we had to make our own way back to the hotel as the hotel pick up was just that - no drop off!

My Review: Really enjoyed Tulum. Knowledgeable guide and beautiful view. Xel-Ha was limited if you are not a good swimmer. I can swim, but am not very strong. Food average.

Chichen Itza: Light and Sound

My Review: Had a brilliant time at Chichen Itza. We ended up in a mini bus with just 14 people, so really personal. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. However, I would not bother with the light and sound show unless you are a really enthusiastic historian. Also, food not great.
