The medieval city and castle are definitely worth the trek from Prague, so don't let the 2 1/2 hours on the bus each way scare you. On the way there, the guide was providing information much of the time but on the way back folks were either napping or talking with each other (we were chatting with new friends from New Zealand and Peru.) We did not get the lunch included as we wanted some time to explore the town on our own and we did have almost two hours to do so, which worked out well. There is a small market just outside the castle entrance which I wish we would have found earlier. Definitely get the potato chips (brambory) there - heavenly! Only bad thing was that our group did not have it's own group in the castle - a large number of other folks joined our tour and it was almost too big to hear the castle guide or fit in the castle rooms. Our guide for the day was in both English and Spanish which was a bit cumbersome throughout the long day, but she was great, learned where we all were from, and gave us all a very genuine hug at the end.
