Cesky Krumlov Day Trip from Prague

My Review: It was a very long day, but such a worthwhile trip. The journey through the Czech country side and then the castle and village itself. Our guide obviously loved doing this tour and made it an entertaining and rewarding experience for us all. Lunch was not as good as it could have been but the venue was beautiful.

My Review: Our guide gave us a view of the difficulties and triumphs of the Jewish community living in Prague over the centuries. The Nazi period was very confronting. We were very glad we had been able to fit the tour in to our schedule.

Czech Spas of Karlovy Vary and Marianske Lazne from Prague

My Review: A wonderful day - very long and busy but such a good trip. Karlovy Vary was a wonderful trip into the mountains and such a pretty town with an extraordinary history. Marianske Lazne was unexpectedly beautiful. We had an orchestra playing while we were there, a visit to a beautiful church and the Royal Spa. Lunch in Karlovy Vary was substantial but not as good as it could have been.

My Review: We were not able to go on this tour although we had booked it as we had a conflicting arrangement when we arrived in Paris. I am sure it would have been well done as the other walking tour we did the previous day was with the same tour providers and it was very good.

Skip the Line: Louvre Museum Walking Tour including Venus de Milo and Mona Lisa

My Review: Where to start. The Louvre is huge and overwhelming. Our tour was not long enough and too long..! I think you need a number of days to see various parts of the Louvre and to take in that part of their offering. Our guide was very knowledgable but kept to the areas that she liked best - consequently we did not get an opportunity to see many paintings - just the Mona Lisa and 1 other gallery very quickly. But as I said you need days not hours in this amazing Museum.

Paris Walking Tour: Classic Paris

My Review: A wonderful tour. Our guide was very good and very happy to show us "his" Paris. He obviously lover being in this city and his tour reflected this. We walked in the rain and had lunch in the Tuilleries (not a brilliant lunch but a brilliant venue!) and we all felt we were much better able to organise ourselves and understand what else we wanted to see in Paris, after this tour. Do it.

Versailles Walking Tour with Optional Fountain Show

My Review: We had a wonderful visit. The fountains were working with the music playing.The palace was just beautiful, the gardens looked gorgeous, our lunch was lovely and the venue just right. We walked to the farm and the fruit wasa ripe on the trees and the Theatre was opened during the afternoon and we were able to go in - such an unexpected opportunity. And 1 of the gardeners picked some fruit for us which we ate as we walked. Could it get any better ?
