The first part of this tour was amazing. Our tour guide was Antonio and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the subject and he had a great sense of humor as well. The second part of the tour was very good as well even though the tour guide we had for the second part was a bit too academic in her approach and not as fun and lively as Antonio but overall she did a great job as well. Overall, it was a great tour and truly priceless to skip the very long lines to both of these museums.

This was our 2nd tour with Viator while in Rome and we were lucky to be able to request the same tour guide as the prior day at the Colosseum. Francesca P. was amazing in both of the tours we had as she was incredibly knowledgeable of the subject and added such life, passion, and humor to the tour. Paying the extra money for the small group and skipping the lines with the early admission was well worth it. We got inside the Vatican museum within minutes and even though it was still fairly busy it was a manageable crowd. The small group fo 10 people made it easy to navigate as a group and Francesca P. knew exactly where to stand in each of the rooms in order to get the best views of the art work. This tour was absolutely amazing. The small group option was well worth the extra cost since it was a very intimate experience. Our tour guide Francesca P. was incredible. She spoke with incredible knowledge and was extremely passionate and funny at the same time. She really brought the ruins of ancient Rome to life with her vivid descriptions. This tour is a must for anyone visiting Rome. The early tour with access to the underground of the Colosseum was again worth the extra cost as we got to see parts of the Colosseum from the Gladiator's point of view. Francesca P. was so good that 3 couples including us requested her for the Vatican tour the next day after we found out that she was going to be leading one of those groups. Thank you Francesca P. for adding such life to both of these tours and for making our trip to Rome even better than we could ever have expected.
