Venice Marco Polo Airport Link Arrival Transfer

My Review: Our name clearly displayed at arrival point, all arrangements carried out efficiently which was much appreciated due to our late night arrival. We were contacted at our hotel the day before our departure confirming details of our pick-up time and again we were collected promptly and delivered to the airport without any problem and in plenty of time to check in for our flight. Would certainly recommend this transfer particularly for late night arrival or anyone not knowing the city. Would use again if the occasion arose.

Vienna City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

My Review: Dreadful. A waste of money and precious time. The representative who exchanged our voucher was inefficient and sloppy, not rude but only as helpful as absolutely necessary, no doubt we were disturbing his quiet afternoon chatting to his colleagues. The service was very poor. On two occasions, each at a different stop, we arrived well before the published departure time and waited some time afterwards but the bus just did not arrive. The first time we later asked why and were told the driver had not done that stop that time, no one knew why. The second time we had had enough and did not even ask why. This service appears to operate using three separate lines which all commence from a central point and where there is a representative selling tickets for hourly tours on each route. These hourly tickets are obviously more lucrative to the bus company, does this mean if no hourly tickets are sold then that particular tour does not operate on that occasion thereby leaving earlier hop-on/hop-off passengers stranded, or are the staff allowed to operate the service on a whim? Earphones for the audio guide were left permanently plugged in for use by each subsequent passenger - not very hygienic. We have used hop-on/hop-off in several locations previously and always been handed fresh earphones in a sealed bag which we keep for the duration of our ticket validity. We would have been happy to be given just fresh foam earpiece covers. We would not use this service again, better to use a public transport roamer ticket - cheaper and more reliable. *** Follow up note *** Having received my review, the Viator team have brought the complaints to the attention of the bus company whose response leads me to believe that they will address the problems and improve the service for future clients.

My Review: Driver arrived very promptly and we were transported to the airport in a very comfortable and clean vehicle arriving in plenty of time to check in for our flight thereby avoiding any last-minute worry, rush or panic.

Rome's Tiber River Dinner Cruise

My Review: This trip was really the highlight of our stay in Rome. It was so beautiful on the river as twilight fell and the city slowly became illuminated. The atmosphere was just happiness with the accordionist adding to it with his typical Italian music and songs. Even our request for vegetarian meals had been taken into account and was excellent.
