My Review: We actually got right in at the designated time. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and we were able to stay and continue our experience after our official tour was over. It also wasn't overly croweded.

Pompeii and Amalfi Coast Small Group Day Trip from Rome

My Review: Our tour guide was horrible! We were in 3 vans that were connected by a walkie/talkie system. It was difficult to hear the guide when he actually remembered to say something about the sites we were passing on our way to the coast. He was very detached and acted like he'd done this too many times. It was a 3 hr. car ride to the coast. We didn't have enough time in Limone. Only enough time to eat and no time to see the town. We had 2 hours and needed 3 hrs. Pompeii was amazing. No lines. However the new guide, you get a new guide at each location, was in a big hurry to finish up. No time to take photos. He rushed us through the ruins. So...the places were beautiful and worth seeing. Go see them on your own, on your own time if possible. The tour had much to be desired.

My Review: The guide here was EXCELLENT! He knew his history and obviously loved his job. He was relaxed and didn't hurry us from point to point. We got in right on time and thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Dark Rome is the tour company that ViaTor subcontracted and they were well organized and knowledgeable.

Seine River Cruise, Paris Illuminations and Dinner on the Champs-Elysees

My Review: Skip the cruise! First of all, it's still daytime at 7pm. No illuminations. There are 500 people on the boat. It was dirty and noisy. The ride around the city afterwards was only OK. We rode in circles waiting to be able to enter the restaurant that was booked. We missed the lights and sparkles on the Eiffel tower by 2 minutes. They do this on the hour for 10 minutes once it gets dark. The only redeeming feature of this "tour" was the meal. It was delicious. However, for the cost of this tour, book your own restaurant and forget the rest. SO NOT WORTH THE COST!

Paris Dinner with Parisian Hosts

My Review: The couple was lovely. They spoke wonderful English and were welcoming and gracious. I would suggest that you include a hotel pickup and drop-off. It was difficult to find unless you took a taxi. However, our host's home was quite a distance from our hotel. Quite costly in a taxi. The meal is provided by a local catering company. Not very tasty. Get a different company. France is supposed to be the country of top cuisine. The meal didn't reflect this. However, if you just want to chat and get to meet some locals, this is worth your time. As I said, our hosts were lovely and we completely enjoyed our evening with them.

Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath Day Trip from London

My Review: Too rushed!!! Windsor Castle had long, long lines. No skipping here. We hit each and every one starting outside the gate. At least an hour was "wasted" waiting in line. Therefore, our time to see the castle was severely depleted. We practically ran through the castle. Getting a sandwich in Windsor to take on the bus ride to Bath and making it to the bus on time was practically impossible. I felt very stressed. In Bath, we were rushed once again. We saw the ruins but no time at all to see the town. It looked like a lovely place to explore, but once again....no time. Stonehenge was also rushed. This entire tour was such a disappointment. ViaTour should cut out one of the venues so that the client can actually have some time to enjoy the places we went to see. I wouldn't take this tour again if it was given to me.
