Our flight was delayed 2 hrs due to accident at another NYC airport which closed all outgoing runways. When we arrived in Dublin no one was there for transport. And, there was no local phone number for us to call. Our choice was to call an 800 # in California which was 8 time zones away making it 2 AM or to call UK which is an international call. Fortunately, we found someone with international access who straightened it out. After 1 hr wait a cab driver appeared and drove us to the hotel. One would expect a professional car service to check if the flight is on time and arrive accordingly.
