Good shopping all around this same area, the ladies market is a good place to practice your bargaining skills make sure to have fun and don't take it all to seriously. I recommend negotiating a price for one item first and ten adding in a second or 4 or 5 for an extra price drop. Plenty of knock off bags and stuff or course but worthwhile souvenirs also. Electronics choices are worth comparing to Nathan Road but unlikely to get an International warranty in Monkok , base price can be set at the sign with the orange signage called Fortress that has fixed pricing although with good negotiation you will get 10 or 20 percent more off if you are prepared to lose the safety blanket and bargain away! Street corners smell pretty putrid here as there are big pots of tripe cooking up, hold your breath and move on!

Really great step back in time and good point to point transfer. At the Kowloon side be amazed by the pro democracy type informational signage and people brave enough to stand there! Ridiculously cheap and although the MTR is faster this definitely should be used at least once during your stay

Good to view from Felix at the top of The Peninsula with a cold drink in your hand, worthwhile for older kids too. From 8pm for 15 minutes
