London, United Kingdom
I had a good time.
If I tried to hit those 3 spots by myself by renting a car, I would for sure spent more than what I paid for this tour. It was busy, but very efficient way to see historical spots outside of London. Since I was in London for work and I only had 1 free day, this was perfect! If you are looking to relax, this is not a tour for you. If you want to see places efficiently, this is great. But make sure that you are seeing everything you want to see quickly, otherwise you will run out of time.
Our tour guide, Emily was very energetic and is such a sweetheart. She's also very knowledgeable.
I actually got to talk to another tour guide doing the same tour from the same company as there were several buses from the samey company on the same day, and he was very friendly and energetic as well.
Since I was the only one for this tour, I got a personal tour guide and a driver! The tour guide was very nice and friendly. Because I was the only one, we were able to move quick and got to do more than usual...she was able to show me the Olympic Stadium from a few blocks away which was good enough for me to take a nice photo, and took me to massage. They were very flexible... I wanted to walk around the Great Wall for 30 minutes, so she gave me time as I wished.
The only negative thing is that they take you to silk factory, jade factory, and tea house, which I believe the tour guide and driver get commissions. Of course, the tour guide tried to persuade me to purchase things. I felt bad at the end, so I did end up overpriced Chinese tea. (They sell the exact same tea at 1/5 of the price somewhere else)
