Leader was very knowledgeable and well spoken. Selection of sites and time were very good. There was an equipment problem (minibus would not start) which the vendor handled very well. Ordered a coach that came with only an hour and a half delay which the vendor added to the back end of the trip. No loss of coverage.

A real good chance to see the San Marco Cathedral but alas not enough time inside the building. Apparently you need a guide to get the front of the line treatment but the guides are limited to the time they can spend in the Cathedral with their tour.
The rest of the tour got us to more parts of Venice that we would have never found on our own.

Too much time on Burano and not enough time on Murano. Only had time to visit one glass factory and no time to see the rest of the island. Not as much to see on Burano but had extra time not needed. Torcello visit was interesting but was a long walk to see the very ancient church on what was a very hot day.

The guide was a delight. Very capable and knowledgeable. A chance to see parts of Venice I would not have found on my own.

A fun touristy thing that was worth the time and money. A real chance to see the Grand Canal close and personal.

The Vatican part of the your was great. No long lines to get in and a fairly thorough but rushed look at the Museum and time in the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica.

The surprise of the day was the afternoon bus tour where we visited three other Basilicas in Rome. Something that we would have not known to do but was a great addition to our trip.

The guide was excellent. He had a great grasp of art history and made the tour of the museum very thorough and interesting. The Borghese gardens were a bit of a disappointment but the end of the tour overlooking a panorama of Rome was a delight.

A must see. A lot of walking and stair climbing but worth the effort. The day of our tour the weather was very hot and there was little relief from the sun and heat. Depending on the month of the visit this should be considered.

A good introduction to some of the must sees on a visit to Rome. The Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon were real highlights.

The guide was not so good. But the venue was really fantastic to see. The Villa d'Este gardens were a wonder to see. A must see for garden lovers and water fountains aficionados. A real treat.

A real disappointment. The food was just OK. The service was not really good. Finally on this part of the Tiber River there is little to see from the water level other than the flood control channel walls that line the river. Not worth the time or money.

Alkmaar Cheese Market was unpleasant since there were too many people with only a limited area to view. Either a larger raised platform or some other way to allow more people to see the sales platform.
The chance to see more of the countryside was a plus.
The cheese farm was a treat.

A great way to see the gardens without having to rent a car or use public transportation for a rather long trip. The gardens are a must see. The plant and blossom displays were incredible. Well worth the time and money if you are a flower and garden lover.

Seeing the Hague was a great chance to see the crosscurrents of Netherlands architecture. Both the modern highrise buildings and the lovely historic buildings were a delight to observe in such close proximity. The Madurodam Park was a real wonder. A great way to see the Netherlands that we had already seen all over again but in one place and in miniature.

It was great to see Brussels and the old and new portions of the city. It might have been a more complete trip to Brussels if there had been no stop in Antwerp and would have had more time to tour in Brussels.

I highly recommend this tour. It was a fantastic introduction to our visit to Amsterdam. Our guide was a real treat and was a wealth of knowledge about Amsterdam and its history.

Even though we had seen the canals by day the night experience was a delight. The wine and snacks were fine and the boat captain and the tour guide were a trip unto themselves. Seeing the canals by night with all of the lights was magical.

Very enjoyable. Though a bit touristy it was fun to see the movie sites and most of all the chance to see the lake district outside of Salzburg on the way to Mondsee.
