I found the island of Nevis to be very nice - however, this was a bit of a strange tour. We basically visited hotels and resorts on Nevis. We really did not see any Nevis sites, other than one church. The rest of the stops were other hotels. Plus, we did not receive lunch - which says in the description of the tour.

This tour was nice. The railway is a nice way to see a lot of the island without driving.

I found this tour to be OK - compared to the other tours we had it did not live up to the same high quality. I thought we did not have enough time in Murano and were shuttled into a specific store to view and purchase their glassware and because we sat through a demo, which was nice, we hardly had any shopping time and did not even realize there were many other shopping opportunities until it was time to move to the next location. My suggestion would be to spend more time in Murano and less in Torcello, which was sort of a pointless stop.

This trip was enjoyable. We saw all the key sights and wandered through the streets with plenty of accompanying commentary by our guides. The one thing I thought that made this trip a bit more difficult than my tours in Rome was the fact that they do not use radios for the guides in Venice. I believe that would have made our guide easier to hear in some of the large crowds.

The Vatican Museums Walking tour was very good Our guide was very knowledgable and this is the best way to see the Vatican. Skipping the line is really the only way, since the lines outside were soooooo long. I did find, though, the crowd control at the Sistine Chapel was a bit lax. Unfortunately, I thought too many groups were in there at once, and no one was abiding by the restrictions on taking pictures or being quiet. Many tour guides just chatted away, in the chapel and that took away from the overall experience.

This trip was very good. It is a long drive down the coast and we expected that. The walk up to Vesuvius was good and Pompeii was not what I expected, at all. The restoration is remarkable. I realy enjoyed this experience.

This was the best tour I had in Rome - our tour guide was FANTASTIC. She was able to talk and walk and talk and walk and imparted mountains of information for us all along the way. Entertaining and educational. We learned a lot and really got a feel for the monuments themselves. Kudos to her and her style and knowledge!!
