Pompeii Half-day Trip from Naples

My Review: Great tour but the transport to and from Pompeii was sub-standard (2 x broken seats in one of the mini buses, no air con and very bumpy ride). It would also have been preferable to be able to stay and look around, have lunch at the site on completion, rather than having to be rushed away immediately after the tour finished (we didn't do the lunch and Mt Vesuvius option). Instructions prior to receiving the "whisper" radios were very poor, and lucky to have not lost some of our group on the way. Also, further instructions after we handed "whispers" back were a bit lacking in detail.

My Review: Able to get onto all the routes and found the attendants very helpful in assisting visitors to find their way around etc. This was quite a fast paced HOHO though compared to some others in Italy.

My Review: Great tour and guide Stefano very entertaining. Dissapointed that lunch was so rushed, as did not get a chance to really enjoy it and the 5 x wines. Pre info for Pisa could have been better explained as we did not know what options were available fully until we arrived. Well worthwhile, good value.

My Review: Good value if you didn't have a Venice Travel Pass, but disappointing when you arrived at the islands as there was nothing provided except the transport there, plus a relatively poor documentary while on the boat. Although glass blowing and lace making demonstration included, there was no instruction on what exactly was provided. We just happened to see the glass blowing as it was directly in front of us as we came off the boat, but too many people so came back later, and had to "promise" to tip them otherwise they wouldn't let us in! Lace making we didn't see and didn't know where it was.

My Review: Fantastic place, you don't want to miss this. Lots of good stuff to see but not able to go back and see the rest of the museum a very dissappointing finish, even though we knew this when we started, the option to hand back the "radios" at the Sistine Chapel and continue alone was a difficult choice, as it would have been difficult to go against the flow, and miss the Basilica tour. Many of the galleries missed completely, we chose to pay again to see it in our own time.
Having different arrival times on the confirmation caused us and many others to miss the initial tour date and time.
The bag deposit and claim information should be on the confirmation to enable you to choose to leave all bags behind. Also difficult to find the bag claim, having to go all the way around the outside to the entrance, and enter again to pick up your bag.

My Review: Great tour and very worthwhile, but got lost towards the end during a long continuous series of corridors and stairs. Had great difficulty handing "radio" in, no-one wanted to know, and very distressing not knowing where to meet up with partner. Would have liked more time.
