We had a good experience that was enhanced by a professional guide who (being an archaeologist), provided the group with a better appreciation of the ancient sites.

Whilst it was enjoyable to see Venice from the water, having a guide cater to five nationalities diminished the experience. It all appeared rushed. It may have been better to focus on two or three languages and provide more information rather than repeating the small amount of information in five languages.
