This grand tour was GREAT and we really appreciated our guide (Johnathan, who REALLY knows his city) and our nice bus driver. One remark : why do we get into the bus, go around the block and get off to walk through the Kodak Theatre and see the Hollywood sign ? Why not do that before getting into the bus or at the end of the tour ?

Everybody knows that visiting Alcatraz is a MUST. But if you book it at the end of the day, after the Bay Cruise and the Guided City Tour, DO NOT waste any time and HURRY to get to Pier 33. My son and I almost didn't make it (imagine the disappointment !) because we couldn't find a taxi and it was too far to walk (about 1 kilometer). We ended up getting on the very LAST boat of the day (at 4:55 p.m.). Another MUST is that City tour, which takes us everywhere and is perfect, as was our guide, Dennis.
