Paris City Segway Tour

My Review: This was a lot of fun. The training beforehand was well done. The tour guide had a great sense of humour and she picked stopping points which were at great locales and always seemed to be perfectly timed for just about exactly when your feet began to hurt. It was astonishing how quickly, riding the segway for the first time, became more and more natural as the evening went on. Our particular tour went about an extra 45 minutes more than advertised. Made me want to ride segways on future trips!

French Riviera Small Group Day Trip from Nice

My Review: This was an excellent way to get an overview of the region. The stop locations were very interesting and well chosen. The main stops could each have used another 20 minutes as they were a bit rushed. As a result of this tour we found a location we wanted to return to the next day. We did so and spent the entire day there.

Amsterdam Canal Bus Hop-On Hop-Off

My Review: This was a great way to find all about what to see in Amsterdam. We didn't realize there were 3 different routes, so we were able to locate all kinds of locales we wanted to return to. It was a very relaxing way to commute. One of the best things was since the weather the 2 days was blustery with frequent showers, it was a great place to retreat to when the weather was not so great. It allowed you to feel like you were still exploring and not wasting your time, while at the same time staying dry.

My Review: This was excellent for the first time visitor to New York. It gave an excellent and complete orientation to all of Manhattan Island. By the end of our 4 day trip I could find everything in Manhattan simply and on my own. On the morning we went up The Empire State Building, on the north side facing the wind, the windchill was -50 degrees. At that temperature it makes no difference if it was Fahrenheit or Celsius. Good thing we were Canadian!

Limerick, Cliffs of Moher, Burren and Galway Bay Rail Tour from Dublin

My Review: This also included Bunratty Castle, which was fabulous as well. The Cliffs of Moher were gorgeous in the sunlight, and we were able to watch a thunderstorm gradually overtake the cliffs over a half hour span. We took great photos both in sun and in the monsoon like conditions. I would have liked even more time at each stop, even though it was a full day.

Dublin City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

My Review: This gave us a great orientation to the city. Be sure to get off at the Guinness Storehouse for the tour there. You end up at the top with a free Guinness in your hand and an amazing aerial view of the city along with a directory of what you can see. Coupled with the Hop-on Hop-off you can get your bearings very quickly, and in an enjoyable manner!

My Review: This was extremely insightful, and we had a very knowledgeable guide. He seemed to tailor the trip to the national heritages of the participants. Be sure your bladder is strong, as there are not many opportunities for relief.

London Eye: River Cruise Experience

My Review: We did not understand the itinerary. We had been to London before and at that time the London Eye did not operate river cruises. This does not get you on the London Eye itself but rather a boat cruise from the new London Eye dock . The writeup should clearly state that you do not get on the London Eye itself. This was somewhat disappointing.

Prague Castle Walking Tour

My Review: Our guide was an older gentleman who spoke German well, but was limited in his English ability. The tour was supposed to be bilingual, but if you asked a question in English he usually misinterpreted it and became agitated. The site was wonderful, but the guide was not.
