Christina was a very informative guide,and took us to all the creepy corners!Make sure you have plenty of water to drink, as there are plenty of bridges in this walking tour

Sabrina was a really good guide for this tour-there were only 5 of us;but her information was really a small Venice education.Finishing at the church de Frari gave us all time to absorb it when the tour ended there

Luckily there was only a small group,as it was quite hot in the water taxi used for the tour. Many of the sights of the Grand Canal were pointed out,but i dont think the kids onboard really enjoyed it. We travelled on the return journey up a couple of quiter canals, which was interesting

I would suggest a much better idea would be taking the vaporetto to both islands-that way you will have time to see the glass factories YOU want to see on Murann not just one,and also have time to see the Lace Museum on Burano and have a stroll while looking at the many coloured houses-this was just too rushed!
