We went on this tour early October 2011.
It's over a 3 hour drive from Rome to Florence, so the half way stop was a relief. The tour catered for English, Spanish and Russian. We thought it was an exclusively English speaking tour, but it must depend on the bookings they receive.
Overall the tour was well organised, however our guide lacked the personal approach. She seemed uninterested in all of us and was difficult to talk to because of this. She had lunch with her colleague away from the group rather than socialise with us. She did not smile or make an effort to be friendly at any stage during the day.
On our way back to the bus at the end of the day, we collect another couple who must have been separated from their own tour. She was unfriendly, spat questions at them and made them look incredibly stupid.
Florence was lovely, the bus was comfortable but the whole day was dampened by our tour guide.

Upon arrival we called the transfer company as advised and were told to wait outside a terminal on the opposite side of where we arrived. I advised the person on the phone that this was very difficult to get to by foot. I advised them exactly where we were and they sent the driver to our location. Our driver was insane! He was friendly, but drove way too fast.

A fantastic day! Our guide was so informative and spoke most of the way to our first stop of Oxford and on each drive to Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick Castle. She was funny and very friendly. Both her and the driver took time to ensure we were comfortable (i.e. air con etc) and helped with information on the other tours Evans offer. Nothing was too much trouble.
You don't actually stop in the Cotswolds, but they slowed down for important landmarks and we still felt as though we'd seen the gorgeous scenery.
We were allowed to explore Warwick Castle at our leisure which was nice.
I would definitely book this tour again with Evans and recommend any of their products.
