Skip the Line: Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica Half-Day Walking Tour

My Review: Best way to see the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica! Best part is after skipping the line into the museum to see the Sistine Chapel, they then take you through a special "tour-guide-only" passage directly to the Basilica. Saves you about 1-2 hours -- you don't have to walk back out through the museum, you don't have to walk all the way around Vatican City to St. Peter's square, and (best part!) you don't have to wait in the line for the Basilica! Will definitely do this again next time I'm in Vatican City.

Tuscany in One Day Sightseeing Tour

My Review: After over 20 different Viator tours across Europe, this was the absolute best!!! Greatest and most efficient way to see Tuscany if you only have a day. They took us to the beautiful town of Siena, followed by the smaller town of San Gimignano, a wonderful lunch at a farm in Chianti with the most beautiful views of Tuscany, and ended with climbing the Leaning Tower of Pisa (all in one day!). A day I will never forget. And our guide, Becky, was excellent!

Venice Walking Tour and Gondola Ride

My Review: Gondola ride was nice, except the seats were individual and all over the place, not side-by-side. Walking tour was awful. Doesn't go through any of the typical Venetian sites but rather through back alleys and useless areas. Don't recommend.

Karlovy Vary Day Trip from Prague

My Review: Karlovy Vary is absolutely amazing!! But this tour was useless. First they take you to a glass factory for an hour (waste of time) instead of going straight to the city. The lunch was fixed menu and really awful. The commentary was unnecessary. I would recommend going to Karlovy Vary on your own and enjoy it! Its worth going!

Panoramic Salzburg City Tour plus Austrian Lakes and Mountains Sightseeing Tour

My Review: The mountains and lakes are breathtaking!! Definitely worth visiting and much nicer than those in Switzerland. The commentary was over-the-top with bad jokes (bring headphones to tune it out). The stop at the tea shop for cake was a nice surprise.

My Review: This was the perfect way to visit these castles. Linderhof was nice but the real gem is Neuschwanstein! Very difficult and expensive to get there on your own.

Amsterdam Super Saver 3: City Tour, Zaanse Schans Windmills, Volendam and Marken Day Trip

My Review: Alas, 0 stars is not an option. This was not a tour as much as it was a sales pitch. The Countryside part of the tour had no commentary and visiting anything at the stops except a cheese factory and a clog factory. No windmill tour or anything (the windmills were an afterthought for these tour operators). The City tour took us on an hour long visit to a diamond factory. Really?? Do you think I'm going to buy a diamond while I'm on vacation?!?

Thames River Cruise, Tower of London and City of London Tour

My Review: Nice tour of Tower of London. River cruise was kind of a waste as it didn't go very far on the river. NOTE! When they say "City of London" they are talking about the older eastern part of London. It does not cover any of the major sights like Buckingham Palace or Big Ben. That, we were told, was a separate tour that was in the morning.
