Washington DC Day Trip from New York

My Review: It was a long day after an early start buit very worthwhile. The journey was broken up by stops, and the agenda when we got to Washington was varied and interesting. But what made the day really special was the steady driving of Chris, our patient driver and the fantastic flow of information and jokes from our guide Michael. Would definitely reccommend this day trip..

The New York Pass

My Review: The New York Pass was excellent value for money. We bought a three day pass and discovered a wide variety of different attractions that we may otherise have overlooked. With careful planning so much could be packed into the days. Fast-tracking at the most popular attractions was very helpful and we would really reccommend going up the Empire State Building at night - the view is incredible and almost no queueing!

Skip the Line: Paris Louvre Museum Guided Tour

My Review: I have already written independently to Viator regarding this tour. We were kept waiting 30 minutes beyond the advertised time while the French tour organiser attempted to sell more tickets, and despite the protestations of the tour guide Peter we set off to the Louvre with more people than should have been in the group[. The consequence was that groiup members wandered off causing our guide to become completely distracted and ended up with him collecting the audio tours and leaving us abruptly in the last gallery.

Paris by Night Illuminations Tour and Paris Moulin Rouge Show

My Review: Waited 50minutes beyond the advertised collection time as driver was given the wrong directions. This resulted in being at the end of a long queue and having an extra table put in for us on the stairs in the Moulin Rouge near a waiting on station so the waiters kept bobbing across our line of view. Driver was also not at his vehicle when we came out so another weait. The show itself was very professional.
