What an awesome experience! Lisa was a great tour guide and we really enjoyed some fantastic and plentiful food and wine during lunch. Wish we had more time to see Pisa. We booked the tower entry as part of our tour package which saved time and daylight. Overall will do this tour again when we return to Italy! Did we mention that the wines were fantastic!!! Well worth the $$!

Started as a rainy day in Rome, but once we boarded our bus Massimo encouraged us to 'pray' to Apollo for a good weather. His cheerful and positive attitude kept the whole bus upbeat. We had a great ride to Vesuvius with lots of interesting facts thanks to Massimo. The climb was up was chilly and steep, but we made it and the view is breath-taking. Great lunch provided and then a chance to walk it off in Pompeii. Our guide was full of historical facts and to see the history and trying to imagine what it must have been like leaves you speechless. Would have enjoyed a slower pace thru Pompeii and chance to view more of it.

Francesca, what a fantastic tour guide. So full of knowledge and passion for telling the history and significance of the Vatican. Her charm and expressions added to the beauty of this tour. A real must for anyone visiting Rome. Book the early morning tour for best effect and chance to absorb it all. At the end you can go back in at a slower pace to enjoy the beauty of St Peter's Basilica!

Adequate to see the city when you first arrive, just don't get off right away. Times and pick up places were not reliable. Map provided had street names printed over making hard to read. Saw several other companies with multiple buses go by while waiting for the green bus. Operators sometime rude and unwilling to answer questions. We'll use public transportation next time, 1 euro a lot cheaper and more reliable and friendly.
