A short but concise potted history of the beautiful old city of Dubrovnik. We were there on market day which added to the atmosphere. Our guide was knowledgeable and informative older lady (name escapes me).
She dealt with our smallish group well, just needed to have more confidence in her own abilities- and less concern about how much info we could absorb. More is better!
Well worth doing to get an overview of the city before heading off to see more in greater depth.
Miniature Versailles! This tour was well organised and run. Very informative, only downside was trying to find pickup/meeting point as not very well described. It is in the bus depot outside of what will soon be Vienna Hauptbannhof.
A good insight to the beautiful palace of Schonbrunn. It would have been nice to have alittle more time to view the grounds.
Prague, Czech Republic
An acceptable overview of this beautiful city. Mainly consisting of a minibus drive-by of some of Prague's major sights, with the majority of the tour spent around Prague castle, and the fantastic views of the city from the hill it sits atop. Our tour was delivered in 3 languages which clearly made it difficult for our guide and also us, as it limited the amount of info which could be shared as we passed each location.
I suggest a walking tour in conjunction (as we did, fabulous by the way, and no upfront charge) to get a more in depth view and understanding of this magnificent town's history and sights
This was a fantastic way to see some of Berlin's major attractions! My wife, two children (11 and 12), and I rank our bike tour of Berlin in the top 10 things we did on our 5 week journey ( 7 countries, 13 cities)
Our guide Blakely (Donuts) was fabulous. The riding was easy ( even though we seldom ride these days), and it made it possible to see far more than you would have by foot or by coach.
Well done Fat Tire!
Very enjoyable day. Myself ( under duress), my wife, and 2 kids (11 and 12) enjoyed this tour immensely.
Our guide was fabulous. His knowledge of this family classic movie was expressed in a joyously camp
over the top manner which only added to the fun of the tour.
Our walking tour was also well worth doing- despite the pouring rain.
Overall, highly recommended to all. Even to those, like myself, not HUGE fans of the movie!
A great way to see Munich! A family of four; kids 11 and 12. We loved it.
Our guide was great, the ride was pretty easy and we saw some many of the fantastic sights that Munich has to offer. Highlight for the kids was the amazing river surfing on the Eisbach. Awesome.
Moderately strenuous, mainly flat terrain.
Highly recommended for all.
We enjoyed our trip to Mt Titlus greatly.
It was a highlight of our time in Switzerland (Sep 13) for our kids (11 and 12).
The cable cars, and gondolas up the mountain are epic. As are the views of the surrounding Alps once you reach the top. Lucerne is a beautiful town, and this trip to the snow capped peak of Mt Titlus was the icing on the cake.
We did miss out on tubing on the snow as the location of that activity was not clearly explained ( take the Ice flyer to get to it).
Well worth the experience
Fabulous tour enjoyed by all my family including a 9 and a 10 y.o. Our guide was passionate and knowlegeable, and was able to infuse the tour with his passion and interest, especially in MicheIangelo's David. Well worth doing- if only to miss the massive queue at the Galleria dell'Accademia.
Very enjoyable tour of the floating city, enjoyed by all, including two kids of 9 and 10.
Plenty of walking through the myriad of mazelike streets and alleys in Venice. The afternoon boat cruise of the Grand Canal a most enjoyable way to see the rest of the cities many highlights
A great way to get an overview of the city of lights and it's many treasures. Not much walking here though, all the sights are seen through the window of the bus or the panoramic glass cover of the boat. An excellent way to orientate youself in Paris and plan the rest of your sightseeing adventure
London, United Kingdom
Big day out! We (2adults and 2 kids 9 and 10) enjoyed this tour immensely. Our guide was very English, and very knowlegable. Windsor Castle was impressive. Seeing Stonehenge up close was the culmination of a lifetime's fascination with this ancient and mysterious structure. Amazing and mystical, Bath as a town is quite lovely, and all these things combined, made for a tiring but fabulous days travelling.
London, United Kingdom
We avoided standing in a huge queue at the start of the day with these tickets. (By the time we left at lunchtime queue was very short.)
Worth it to miss the line and experience what is an institution in London.
London, United Kingdom
Very worthwhile and enjoyable overview of the sights of this grand city. A fantastic way to plan your more in-depth sightseeing of London. Our guide, 'Mary Poppins' was very informative and clearly loved imparting some of her knowlege to all on the tour.Enjoyed by my family of 4, including a 9 yo and 10yo.
