Hanauma Bay Snorkeling Adventure Half-Day Tour

My Review:

Not reccomended. They don't tell you about the strong currents and the fact that it is a half mile walk to the beach from the bus. This is NOT a half day tour - we were picked up at 9:30, arrived at the beach at 11:00 and given a return time of 2:45pm. Back at our hotel for 3:45pm! Also there are too many people on the beach and the coral has been spoilt by people standing on it.

Maui Whale Watch Cruise

It was a shame that it was the end of the season so we didn't get to see that much action, in fact we saw more whales and dolphins on our snorkel trip 2 days before. The commentary from the guys from the whale foundation was very interesting and they made an effort to engage with the kids, who may not understand the higher level sciencey bits. Great trip will recommend but don't wait till the end of the season.

Very well organised - we were met as stated just as we left the gate and the greeter helped to show us where to collect our luggage and took us out to the waiting bus. Trip to the hotel was about an hour but that was fine.

This trip was absolutely excellent. Really impressive sights both from the dam and from the river. Have to say a big thanks to Gerry our driver/guide as his commentary and knowledge of the area really made some of the facts come alive. Definately 5 star.

San Diego City Tour, Harbor Cruise and Tijuana Day Trip

My Review: Too long spent in Tijuana - the pits! Other than that a really good day out and a great way to orient yourself around San Diego. Loved the harbour cruise, Coronado and La Jolla. Well worth the money and the driver was an absolute scream.

My Review: Really good tour to the west coast. Good combination of cultural highlights and nature treks. Maybe a bit too long spent at the beach on our trip as 1 guy insisted on swimming! Otherwise well worth doing for the scenery and the natural beauty.

Singapore Zoo Night Safari Tour with optional Buffet Dinner

My Rating: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

My Review: Picked up from hotel on time and taken to a central meeting point, where we wasted about 30 minutes before being transferred onto another bus. On arrival at the Night Zoo, we were led directly to the restaurant for a buffet meal. Food was plentiful, tasted OK, but lacked a little imagination. Unfortunately we were not warned that Sunday evening was the busiest time, 1000s of people were there and we had to queue for an hour to get on the train to take us around the zoo. It was a bit disappointing as we could not spend enough time there for the walking tour and did not get to see many of the animals such as the fishing cats or flying foxes.
