Taste of Italy Food Tour to Chianti and Umbria from Rome

My Review: I am not a city person so it was a nice change to leave Rome for a trip to the country. The only problem was that the tour guide was terrible. He was unfriendly and ignored any questions.
The point of this trip was to taste food and try wine. And he rushed us through the food and we tasted the wine like they were shots.
I would recommend this tour but don't take it with Estefano.
At the end of the trip we asked for a recommendation for a dinner place in Rome close to our hotel. He dropped us off over 30 minutes from the hotel so we had to take a cab, terrible person with no people skills.

My Review: I am not an art lover but that was a great experience to see some amazing works. I walked around for hours on my own. But I did not know that you could check out ear phones to get an audio tour.
Definitely go on this excursion but get the audio.
I prefer the audio over a tour guide this way you can appreciate the art and not feel rushed.

Sitges and Freixenet's Cava Wine Cellars Day Trip from Barcelona

My Review: If you are not a city person this is a good trip to get away from the hussle of Barcelona. The wine tour was ok. You only tasted 1 cava wine. It would have been better to conduct a real tasting with a variety.
The trip to Sitges was the best part. The food was better than in Barcelona and the setting was beautiful. But we only had 1 hour in this great coastal town. It was too rushed. It would have been great to skip the pseudo wine tour and hang out in Sitges instead.
Our tour guide was nice but did not really talk much about the areas we visited or the history. He was quiet and seemed preoccupied with something, who knows..
I did find out that you can take a train to Sitges from Barcelona as a stand alone trip. I would recommend it. Enjoy!

Barcelona Half-Day Bike Tour

My Review: Excellent bike ride and great price! We had a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable and friendly. (can't remember his name, sorry, but was from Australia) I would highly recommend this activity with a good tour guide. :)
