Absolutely worth it - we were there during first week of July 2013, and the queue was so long. It was such a pleasure going with a group - which was well organised - and having the sights pointed out - as well as some history regarding the Eiffel Tower. Definitely recommended!
London, United Kingdom
What a wonderful trip! The sights were beautiful and the guide was really enthusiastic about the locations he was taking us to. Blenheim Palace is a real beauty. Obviously there isn't enough time to see everything this place has to offer, but that is to be expected on a tour, when you are trying to fit in so much. I don't normally choose to have lunch with the tours, since the meals are normally overpriced and not very good, however, this time I did and was pleasantly suprised. The Mermaid Inn, where we ate lunch, was a lovely old inn (dated 1500s), with slanting ceilings and crooked floors, but you felt as though you were eating in a time gone by, and the food was delicious - I had the Bangers and Mash. The Cotswolds is not rated by Lonely Planet as one of the Top 10 things to see in the UK for nothing. Every town has a quaint, unique atmosphere, and it was really special walking through the cobbled streets and ducking into small antique shops. This trip affords you to see a lot in a small space of time. I would definitely recommend it.
