Be aware, the first half of the hike is uphill. Our guide stopped frequently, but it is not for everyone. It's interesting and beautiful, but not for the out of shape! The bike ride was great. Downhill 95% of the way and the view of the city below is amazing. I could have done that all day.

I would not recommend this trip if you are not currently on the big island. The tour is nearly 12 hrs. long and if you have to fly over, it's even longer. You do not see much of the volcano from a ground view. The island was interesting and there are many things to see, but not what I expected.

The people who ran this tour were extremely accommodating. They called ahead twice to other buses when we wanted to make connections to another line. It's a great way to get an overview of the city and surrounding area.

I had been to Germaine's luau on my last visit and I preferred this one. The show and food are much the same, but they have several things you can do prior to the luau to keep you from being bored as you wait for things to start.

They met us right at the airport before we even had our luggage and were very prompt on the return trip as well.

This tour encompassed more than I expected. The food was excellent with a wide variety from different ethnic restaurants, plus some great history and sightseeing included. Our tour guide was very informative and fun. I never felt rushed. I would go on this tour again!
