Mt Vesuvius and Pompeii Day Trip from Naples

My Review: Excellant tour! There were only 12 people in our group which was great. We are not "tour" people-we would prefer to sightsee on our own but this was worth doing the tour. First, you don't want to drive yourself in Italy--the drivers are INSANE!!! Second, our tour guide Andrea and drive, Luigi were worth the money! They provided interesting information in a fun way and didn't take themselves too seriously. A visit to Pompeii is a must if you go to Italy. Pizza lunch was good and provided a great way to meet others in the group. Climbing to the summit of Vesuvius was great exercise and an experience not to be missed if you are reasonably fit. The ride up and down Vesuvius by van was better then any scary rollercoaster ride!! All in all, worth the money!

My Review: Absolutely stunning! The Vatican is not to be missed no matter your religious affiliation. Simon was our tour guide and we could not have asked for a better guide! Knowledgable and humorous, he kept us informed and interested. He kept us moving along and managed to steer us clear of the other large tour groups so it seemed we were the only ones in each particular room. It was definately worth the money to do the earlier tour that was limited to 20 people especially when we saw the lines outside the Vatican when we were coming out at the end of our tour. Worth every penny!!!
