New York City, New York
This trip was really good and fits a lot into a short amount of time, would recommend it it if you only have a short amount of time to visit these cities. The first day we visited a lot of historic sites in Philadelphia including the Liberty Bell, the first street, Betsy Ross House, Independence Hall and Congress Hall. We then finished the day in lancaster visiting the Amish Country and enjoyed a Buggy ride around the area. The over night hotel was very comfortable and included breakfast. The second day we visited Arlington Cemetery to witness the changing of the guard, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, The Lincoln Centre, The White House, Captial Buliding and the Air and Space Muesum, there were a lot of school field trips on at the time so a lot of children to navagate through over both days which took away from the experience a little.
*Be aware if booking this trip that it was in 4 different languages (English, Italian, Spanish and Hebrew) which did get a bit annoying at times as it wasn't with head sets, there were 2 guides, which were helpful, one more so than the other.
Overall a great 2 days, got to see and expereince a lot in these 2 cities and learn about America's history.
Los Angeles, California
Good value for money. Places were easy to find and book into. You could fit them all in one day if you wanted to. (if doing this I would rerccommend starting off with one of the tours at 10am to ensure you have time to fit everything in). I did the Behind the Scences walking tour, which was very informative and interesting learning about all the background into the theatres in Hollywood, the Stars home tour - we actually saw Keanu Reeves outside his house, which was pretty cool and visited Madame Tassades.
Los Angeles, California
Fantastic day, loved every minute of it!! The transportation was on time picking up and dropping off (if you are located in the Hollywood area, be aware that your pick up will likely be early than stated when you call for confirmation) I was by myself and got the park hopper ticket and was able to fit it all in one day. Didn't go on every single ride, but all of the main ones and got a lot done. If you are travelling alone and want to do both parks, it is do-able in one day but I recommend making use of the single rider lines especially at California Adventure as the lines and wait times for rides get really long and this cuts a lot of the waiting time and also starting at Disneyland on the rides that are the most popular as soon as you arrive as they are not as busy earlier in the morning, this way you should be able to get the most out of your day and avoid wasting a lot of time waiting in long lines. Make sure that if you do go over to California Adventure in the afternoon to come back for the parades at Disneyland at 4pm or 6.30pm.
Very enjoyable hike, not too difficult. Great views from the top of the crater. Would recommend the early morning hike as it gets busy later in the morning/day. Guide was great and shared a lot of background into the history of volcanoes in Hawaii and the geology behind them which was interesting.
Great day! Guide Ernald was excellent. Recommed this tour to get the most of the Pearl Harbor experience, history and background.
