The guide was competent but his facility of English was not as good as it should have been. He was open and helpful and knew French history but another British guide we overheard at the beaches was far more knowledgeable about the details of the beaches on D-Day. We were given an hour at the Museum and the American cemetery but as we were all Americans in the group it was not enough time. We needed another half-hour to really finish the museum with the videos and walk around the cemetery which was so moving. Perhaps we could have skipped the Canadian beach which did not add to the experience overall. The lunch was fabulous and the trip overall was very moving.
