Milan Half-Day Sightseeing Tour with da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'

My Review: Tour provided great insight into Milan in particular and additional insight of Italy's history. But the viewing of the Last Supper is an experience almost beyond words. Our group was hushed and awed. For me maybe the single best memory of a 3 week trip was standing in front of an icon I had read so much about.

Cinque Terre Small Group Day Trip from Florence

My Review: This was the only tour we took that we wished we hadn't. Another day in Florence's atmosphere and museums would have been a better investment in time. We had seen the Amalfi Coast by boat the prior week and thought that was more spectacular and less "touristy". A visit to Lake Como at the end of our trip cemented the feeling that Cinque Terre is the 3rd option of the three. The tour did everything it promised to do, but in our circumstance the magic just wasn't there.

Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's

My Review: "Skip the line" doesn't do the ability to walk right into the Vatican justice. It changes your whole perspective. On top of it, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and helped convey both the easily seen and the behind the history stories of what we were seeing.

Rome Hop-on Hop-off Double Decker Bus Tour

My Review: A hidden gem. A great way to get an overview of the city and the features you want to come back to. We rode the whole circuit the first time, took a break, and then got back on to go to where we wanted to start our individual walking tour. I recommend a 48 hour ticket--use the tour as an easy and prepaid way to get back to home after hours of sightseeing.
