Tuscan Cooking Class and Dinner in Florence

My Review: I thought this was going to be the highlight of our trip, but I'm going to be very honest in this review. The class was too crowded. 5 people at each station X 5 stations and one class of 5 in the kitchen. The head Chef was arrogant, condescending and over whelmed. He could barely keep up let alone give any individual instruction. The only new thing we learned was to make Gnocchi, all of us knew how to slice and dice, but he was very rude with his orders to do so. Knives were so dull you could hardly cut with them. There was supposed to be a wine paring, we got one bottle of red to share with 5 people at our table which equals less then one glass per person. The redemption of this class was that the Wait Staff/Assistants were very nice and friendly and the girls at our station from Oklahoma where a blast. To sum it up, no more than 4 people per station, and Chef, check your attitude and sharpen your knives!

Frascati Wine Tasting Tour from Rome

My Review: This tour was just great! Tiffany our guide was a delight and very knowledgeable and personable. The history and beauty of the vineyard was impressive and the wine, divine! The motor coach and driver are top notch. My one and only complaint was the meeting place. Just a little unsavory area, but the fact that we just didn't know where the exact pick up spot was going to be was a little unnerving.

Rome Segway Tour

My Review: This is a must experience. We had so much fun on this tour, the Segway is easy to handle and gets you "there" in 1/4 th the time it would take to walk. Our guide was not only a good teacher of the Segway, but very knowledgeable of Rome and it's beauty. He took us to places you could never get in to see on a tour bus and would not be able to find on foot on your own.
Book this tour! Ask for good directions to the headquarters, we had a little trouble finding it.
