The shuttle driver was actually a few minutes early, and very helpful.

This was the most amazing experience! It was my last day in Rome, and when I showed up for the lesson we were told it would be filmed and photographed for chef Fabio's website. Fabio took us all around to the best food shops in Rome as he picked out his ingredients, and then we all walked back to his home to cook. He and his team of young chefs showed us how to do each step, and so we cooked a meal of gourmet foods that we were able to sit down and eat at the end. I got to try swordfish, and learned how to make several types of fresh pasta. It felt like a warm and friendly environment, like sitting down with family and laughing and sharing about our trips and experiences in Italy.
A perfect ending to an amazing trip - I would definitely recommend this. (and if you're not able to do this cooking lesson, then at least you can eat at Fabio's restaurant "That's Amore" in Rome)
I am so happy that I can now make my own pasta, and I'm planning to do this regularly now.

I did this on my last night in Rome, and it was very enjoyable to relax with a small group and listen to the sommelier explain about the wine we were tasting. Excellent wine, cheeses, and salami.

This trip was just perfect! The right amount of time to spend in both Naples and Pompeii, and the hotel in Sorrento was lovely. Dinner both nights was amazing, and also a nice breakfast buffet. I had a view of the bay outside my hotel window. The day trip to Capri with Sascha was very pleasant, and we got to see the Blue Grotto. You should definitely go on the chairlift to the top of the island, also - the view is breathtaking. I took the bus to Positano on the 3rd day, and it was so beautiful, the color of the water was unbelievable. It was raining off and on during the whole trip, but that helped to cool down the temperature and humidity so it was pleasant, and when the bus left Sorrento we could look out over the bay and there was a full rainbow stretching from Naples to Capri. It was amazing!
(I would not advise trying to go to more than one town on the Amalfi Coast that 3rd day, though, because you might be waiting for the public buses for a while and might not get back to Sorrento in time for the tour bus back to Rome.)
I would definitely recommend taking this trip!

This was a fabulous idea - I got to bike all around Rome with our guide, who made sure we did not get hit by any traffic. It felt very safe the whole time. I was a little concerned if it would be too rigorous, but we went at a relaxed enough pace that everyone kept up just fine. Our guide had some interesting social commentary and discussion of several sites we went to, also.

This tour hit all the best of Rome's famous sites - a great tour to start with so that you can find your way around.

I was so glad that I booked this tour, to skip the lines. I had been through the Sistine chapel and the museums many years ago, but I appreciated having a tour guide this time to explain everything we were looking at.

It turned out that I was the only person on the shuttle, so they brought me straight to my hotel. This was a great idea.

I was glad to go on this tour because our tour guide's commentary was helpful in understanding the different monuments that I just would have walked by without knowing what was so special about them, and the history of ancient Rome leading up to the present day. I loved the Lux in Arcana special exhibit at the Capitoline museums, also.

We were in the 3rd row - it was great.

As the tour guide put it, "it's probably the most regulated 15 minutes of your life". But I appreciated her tour leading up to seeing the Last Supper painting, and her commentaries on what we were seeing.

This was a wonderful trip! I would definitely recommend it for people who want to see a lot in just 5 days. Our tour guide Alessandro was very gracious to all of us; he made sure that everyone was well taken care of and that we had enough breaks, and he didn't walk too fast for us. The historical information was very interesting, also. I felt very safe with the group, which was important for me as a woman travelling alone in a foreign country. And I got a room right on the Grand Canal in Venice, which was wonderful (though not everyone got this, it's just that the hotel had a little room for one person that they could put me in).
I think this trip is a good overview of a number of cities and towns, and by having someone else do all of the coordinating for you it saves a lot of time (it would have taken me all day to figure out how to get to Murano in Venice by myself).

I actually missed this tour due to being 1 hour late, because of the time changing on a different week than it does in the US, but I heard from some women that I met on a different tour later (who did go on this same tour at the same time I was signed up for) who said that it was excellent.

This was very interesting, I definitely got the feel for history and why the French people rebelled against the excesses of the French royalty. We could have used more time here, but due to traffic in Paris due to demonstrations happening that were beyond anyone's control, we had less time here.

The stop we made on the way there was wonderful; I got to use my Frence to order a pain au chocolate at a patisserie in a little town. The lunch was also wonderful; even if omelettes are not your favorite, I appreciated the chance to try the authentic Mere Poulard omelettes that made her famous, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Mt. St. Michel itself was amazing. I was concerned the hike up it would be tiring, but we went at a reasonable pace, and even an older man with a cane could keep up. I'm so glad I went!

I most wanted to see the Louvre museum, the Eiffel tower, and Notre Dame Cathedral during my trip to Paris, and I was so glad to find that this tour did all of that in one day! I definitely appreciated the tour guide to lead us around, because I would have gotten lost at the Louvre and missed seeing the important works of art that everyone most wants to see there. Lunch at the Eiffel tower was delicious, just perfect. And the Seine river cruise was so relaxing.

I loved going on this tour and hearing all the stories from the tour guide. I am so glad I got a skip-the-line tour, because I would have missed the last tour of the day, otherwise. The Underground and the buses stopped running to the Tower that day due to street demonstrations that were beyond anyone's control, and I had to walk several miles to get there and cross several police lines on the streets. But I made it!

This was great!
