If you visit this city you have to use the cable car but the que's are very long . The buses ran frequently between union square and Fisherman's Wharf and using the city pass was usefull. We did a two day city tour so I 'm not sure if I used the city pass enough to be economical. If you stay in the Wharf area you might not use the ticket to its full extent
