Toledo Half-Day or Full-Day Trip from Madrid

My Review: . The tour bus was very spacious nd clean. Toledo is a beautiful city. The problem with the trip was the tour guide. Her name was Theresa. I would have preferred to have a tour guide to spoke mainly English. That would have made the tour go a little faster, to tell us in Spanish first and tell us in English later was time consuming. And by the time we hear the English version, our attention was lost and it was time to move on to the next place. Not a very good thing.
The tour said we are going to look at churches. We saw the churches from the outside and the physical explanations were very obvious and something you can read from the website. No history at all. Theresa spoke a lot of the Greco and museum artists.
One thing that was very unusual was Theresa walked in front of the group with her umbrella up, not mentioning anything about the narrow cobbled streets and building or apartments of the city. She stopped in front of the church or inside the museum and started talking, and inbetween, Theresa just walked quietly. I have seen a lot of tour guides in severeal cities, but my experience with Theresa was very unusual, dinot show that she enjoyed what she was doing. It was jut a job to her. Sad.
Overall, the cost of the trip was such a waste of time and money. I can easily find my way to Toledo, read about the city or go to the visitor's center and maybe learn and enjoy the beautiful city more.

My Review: I love this event. Our tour guide McIver was excellent, very knowledgeable about Rome and history.She was very accommodating. Using the head set was available and it made everything easier and convenient. Highly recommended.

My Review: I love this tour and our tour guide. Having the headet made everything easier to listen and understand. Our English speaking guide was detailed and very knowledgeable. my sister and I enjoyed the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica.
