Skip the Line: Venice in One Day
Tour / Activity
Location: Venice, Italy
My Review: We had two excellent tour guides (one for the walking tour and one for the boat tour). Both spoke excellent English and shared a wealth of knowledge about Venice with the group. The boat tour was the highlight, the only way to truly see Venice. The only thing we weren't aware of is that the there was 4 hours of downtime between the walking and boat portions of the tour, so a tour we expected to go from 11:10 - 2:10 actually finished after 6:00 when the boat tour was done - keep that in mind when planning your day. Other than that we would have preferred a smaller group for the walking tour. But a good way to see Venice overall.

Venice Marco Polo Airport Link Arrival Transfer
Tour / Activity
Location: Venice, Italy
My Review: We only had a short wait at the airport before being led to the water taxi, and we only had one other stop before ours so we made good time to our hotel. However I will say that we took the Alilaguna (public water taxi) back to the airport at the end of our trip and although it took a bit longer, we saved a ton of money.

Skip the Line: Vatican Museums Walking Tour including Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Rooms and St Peter's
Tour / Activity
Location: Rome, Italy
My Review: We had an excellent tour guide who spoke fluent English, and provided us with a lot of great info throughout the tour. However I will say that the Vatican Museums portion of the tour felt extremely rushed. The rooms were VERY crowded with all the other tour groups and visitors, with everyone expected to squeeze through one small doorway from room to room, so because our group was so large and our tour moved so quickly, we (and a large portion of our tour group) were often very far behind our tour guide. So although we had head-sets to hear what she was saying, she was often so far ahead of us that we could not see whatever it was that she was telling us about. I would highly recommend the 'skip the crowds' tours where you go early in the morning before the crowds.

Rome Segway Tour
Tour / Activity
Location: Rome, Italy
My Review: This tour was EXCELLENT! We had never been on Segways before, but after a few minutes we had the hang of it. We seen so many sights and covered so much ground with the greatest of ease. It was 35C while we were there, walking to all the sights we saw in that heat would have been exhausting, being on a Segway made everything a breeze. Our tour guide was great too. What a great way to see Rome!

Prague Castle Walking Tour
Tour / Activity
Location: Prague, Czech Republic
My Review: We had a really great tour guide who shared a wealth of information about the castle area with us. There were only 4 of us in our group, which was excellent for being able to move easily through all parts of the complex and ask questions to the guide. However the tour began with a lot of confusion and it took awhile to get going on the shuttle. Although our tour guide tried to give us some info about Prague in the shuttle on the way to the castle, there was a non-English speaking tour group on our shuttle as well, who were all speaking so loudly we couldn't hear our tour guide over them. Also we didn't exactly go into a castle, we toured all around the castle, went in the church and a bunch of smaller buildings, but most of the buildings are currently gov't buildings so you can't go inside. I still recommend the tour though.
