Versailles Small Group Day Trip from Paris

My Review: We were picked up at our apartment door by our driver and then taken in a mini bus to the palace. The driver showed us points of interest along the way and gave us clear directions about our time in the palace. We took our own time exploring the palace with individual audio tour guide that explained each part as we moved through. There was enough time to see all the palace and also spend some time in the gardens however to see the vast expanse of gardens you would need to come back another time.

My Review: We joined an evening tour and our guide gave us an interesting outline of all the things we saw. It was an excellent way to experience the size and wealth of art, sculpture etc that is housed there. The Louvre is a very big Museum and this was a good way to see some of it in a relatively short time.

My Review: We enjoyed this tour with our guide pointing out the most important parts and giving us the history behind what we were seeing. The Museum and Chapel were guided and then at St Peter's we were able to spend as much time there as we liked. The tour was run efficiently and it was a good way to get a feel for these places in a short time.

Skip the Line: Ancient Rome and Colosseum Half-Day Walking Tour

My Review: We really enjoyed the tour especially as we had sunny weather for the 90% outside tour. The Colosseum was very crowded that day because it was a Sunday and the Vatican tours were not running. Our guide gave us a good understanding of Roman history and the individual commentary through ear phones meant we didn't miss a thing. It is a lot of walking over uneven surfaces and we were tired at the end, but it was well worth it.

My Review: Our guides for both of these tours gave an interesting and informative overview of the parts of the museums we saw. We chose these tours to get a feel for the history of Florence during our short stay there. The booking system was efficient and having the ticket voucher before leaving home made it much easier when we arrived.

Mount Pilatus Summer Day Trip from Lucerne

My Review: This small group tour was run very efficiently by our helpful and informative guide. There were many choices of walks and viewpoints when we arrived at the top. We had a clear sunny day and the views were breathtaking. Our cruise home across the lake was a good way to relax and see the Mountain from a different perspective.
