Taroko Gorge Full-Day Tour from Taipei

My Review: The logistics of a one-day tour from Taipei worked okay: fly from in-town Songshan airport to Hualin airport (approx. 30 mins), and return by local train (approx. 3 hrs). The gorge was impressive, but the guide did not provide any geological explanation about its natural history, or any in-depth explanation of the sights and local aboriginal culture. It was a bus tour where sights were pointed out to us, and we were told "use your imagination!" Lunch was good.
