Paris Latin Quarter Walking Tour

My Review: Very entertaining. We had "Scott from the US" as our guide. Very energetic in his story telling. :-) Would totally recommend. Only thing i would add to the walk is a little time for individuals to actually go in and see Notre Dame (since it's free anyway) if they so choose. Instead of having to double back after the tour to actually go in.

My Review: Our driver, Frederick, was very nice and entertaining as he drove us there and back. Even offered to drop us off at a different drop point. Palace was amazing. Would recommend to people to also rent the golf card to see more of the gardens.

My Review: I loved having the guided tour for this. The guide taught us a little about the period of certain pieces. Which was really nice. Otherwise my husband and I would have just looked at a painting and said: "it's nice" and moved on. She showed us how to really pay attention to the art piece. The evening tour seemed to be less busy also. :-)

Loire Valley Castles Day Trip: Chambord, Cheverny and Chenonceau

My Review: A wonderful trip out of the city. And the ride wasn't as long as i expected either. It was broken up nicely with the three stops. I also liked that the tour guide used a radio/mic and individual ear pieces so she didn't need to yell while walking around the castles and we could all adjust the volumn individually. And on the bus, if we decided to snooze rather then listen to the guide we just switched her off. :-) The castles were amazing.

My Review: My husband and I very much enjoyed this class. We learned a lot about wines of the region and both feel we can even apply the tasting techniques to our Canadian wines at home. Loved the venue too.

Paris Ghost and Mystery Walking Tour

My Review: Wasn't actually what we were anticipating. We were the only ones and the guide was definitely performing for a group rather than just two people. We were also looking for stories of creepy ghost activity or sightings rather than historical stories of now dead people. The guide was very nice, and answered any of our general questions regarding Paris. But didn't really offer up anything to make our hair stand on end.

My Review: Fantastic! Was such a nice change to ride rather than walk to see the sites. Covered tons of ground at a nice leisurely pace. Loved that we stopped at the little outdoor cafe in the gardens of the Louvre for lunch. Totally recommend doing this bike tour!

Seine River Cruise and Paris Canals Tour

My Review: I enjoyed the cruise. We had a lovely sunny day for it. I would imagine the night cruise would be very pretty and relaxing too. Patrons should be aware that the boat passes through a 2 kilometer tunnel. We had a person who is closter phobic and had a hard time with the tunnel. I would recommend starting (if you have the choice) at the open water portion.. closer to Notre Dame... and ending with all the locks.
