We took one of the last river cruises of the evening that left around 9:30-10 pm. The sights of Paris were wonderful during sunset as well as night time with all of the lights. We got to see the Eiffel Tower light up and sparkle during the last 10 mins of the cruise. I would recommend this to everyone!

I would highly recommend this tour because you don't have to wait in any of the long lines to purchase tickets and to go up the elevator. Our tour included the ticket to the 3rd floor (top floor) of the Eiffel Tower which was great because we didn't have to wait in any lines on the 2nd floor to purchase them. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us an excellent history lesson of the Tower as well Paris and the surrounding buildings, King Louis XIV-XVI, etc. The group tour was approximately 2 hours, and then we had free time on the 3rd floor. So all in all, we ended up being in the tower itself for almost 4 hours! Well worth the views of Paris.

We purchased the 2 day option and were able to get on 3 out of the 4 bus loops. This is an excellent way to see Paris' main attractions, and I would highly recommend it. The only downside is that the last buses leave around 6-6:30 pm and they also get very crowded! If you end up getting stuck at one of the sights because the bus tour ends somewhat early, you can definitely find a metro line that will take you back to your hotel area. Don't forget to pick up the Bus Tour Map as well as the Paris City Metro/Bus Route Map from the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus when you board. The Metro map came in handy as we stayed in the 13th District (Place d'Italie) and the nearest Hop-On-Hop-Off Tour bus stop was about a 20-25 min walk from our hotel...not too bad but also not that close. You can get to anywhere within Paris via the Metro so don't worry if the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tour ends for the day and you're nowhere near your hotel, you won't get stranded!

We bought 65 Swiss Franks worth of chocolate at the Lindt factory store! The prices were definitely a bargain compared to Zurich or airport prices; great as gifts too. The scenic route to Appenzel where the cheese factory was located was a plus. We also bought Appenzeller cheeses from the cheese factory in Appenzel, so deliciously good and you get to sample many varieties. We lucked out with the Mountain because the clouds and fog came in but it was still very relaxing. The mountain goats at the top provided great entertainment. I would recommend this tour for those who want to buy chocolate and cheese and see the cheese being made.

This was a perfect day trip combined with bus, gondola, cogwheel train, and a ferry ride. Definitely worth your time and money. Spectacular views from Mount Pilatus and on the way up to it. Lucerne is gorgeous, but the ferry ride makes it even better! Would highly recommend this trip to everyone!!!
