Short trip for four customs immigration changeovers. Took considerable time to make the four stops, not just two as we expected even though the lines were very short. Didn't realize either all of the shopping stops on this trip. Viator's description should make that clearer. There was one stop of quality in the 1/2 day trip. Audio equipment on this bus didn't work either. Vendor needs to get better equipment since hearing the guide is important on a tour!

Highly recommend the tour but skip buying your tickets in advance. Just get them on the bus. Having the voucher was so much trouble - had to make special arrangements with the driver to ride to a certain stop in the route then had to wait in a crazy, hectic line for over 20 minutes to redeem it into a bus ticket. Could have spent the time on the wonderful bus tours.

Was a great trip - exciting, unique tour. Local vendor needs BETTER audio equipment in the bus. Much of the outbound trip was spent with the guide going around the bus telling us in small groups the instructions which are highly needed for this trip. Also need to mark the guide seat better or teach the bus driver how to be courteous to the visitors. He was extremely rude to someone who unknowingly sat in the first and unmarked seat.

Tea food wasn't so tasty and there wasn't enough to feed everyone. Tour did not stop on the island as indicated. Better to skip and take another tour since the harbour isn't very scenic and cruising around the freighters isn't the most exciting event.

Had the unique experience to see the gorge after/during a heavy rainfall, tremendous waterfalls and different scenery. Logistics were good with a short flight and excellent tour guide. Visit to the Marble Store was excruciating! Horrible, persistent, stalking salesladies. Bad reflection on wonderful Taiwan. This tour for Sunday should be sold separately since it is not as presented in Viator's website and voucher with a shorter duration and no trip to the Marble Factory.

Too rushed. Not very informative but could have been more factual. The handicraft store stop was not needed during this hectic tour. Logistics didn't work with drop off for the next tour. I was not taken back to my hotel as arranged.

Can't rate this tour correctly since it fell into two opposite categories. The tour of Lantau Island was fantastic - 4 stars. Excellent sights, excellent arrangements once on the tour. This was the highlight of my trip to Hong Kong. Super lunch, super guide, super experience.
The pickup and drop-off were HORRIBLE - 0 stars. The pickup was scary. A strange lady who complained about having to work on Sunday came to pick me up. She would not tell me where we were going and would not show me any ID. She was frightening, and I almost bailed out of the tour and called the police. She was disorganized, rude and very unprofessional. I only got on the van since I saw others with the same stickers. Two vans later, I had spent 1.5 hours crisscrossing HK Island on this pickup. Then the drop-off was bad, too. Didn't want to return me and another couple back near our hotels for some reason. Was a very weird experience. This part needs to be better. Viator has comments about this already - I just didn't know how bad it could be until it happened to me.

Excellent - super way to see Hong Kong. Need to drop the jewelry factory or offer an option during this time. That was a waste of my precious vacation time in Hong Kong. Recommend doing the sampan ride. That was great.

Trip was wonderful. Well organized and an efficient way to see lots of beautiful sights. Excellent tour guide with lots of personality and full of interesting information. Comfortable bus and facilities. Plenty of time at each stop to experience the venue. Four buses went out that day from Tokyo on the same tour but the schedules were organized in a way that we never felt like there was a big crowd. Riding back on the Shinkansen was a highlight too. Highly recommend this trip!
